Evaluation

Panteene- this image in paricular captures the physical movement and idea of letting go in a situation. Shona's hair looks lively and loud. Whilst the background contrasts with for foreground. It's dark lowlights empahies the use of the flash, by making the subject more bold. Whilst the orange highlights from the tungestant lights give warmth and don't make the apperance too harsh or 'cold' looking almost. The aspect of not her face not being revealed makes you curious of the identity of the person and persoanly my brain creates an idea of who the person could be (apart from the fact that I actually know who it is). The offset of the compesition works well as its diffrerent to a lot of the images from shoot two that mainly were centre focused.

4:27 am- This is my favourite image of them all. I think it represents the night as a whole. When the last three dancing bodies were standing, one (Pat, background) scraped the dinner plate with homemade lasagne from the previous days before. With someone's sunglasses on (we had no idea whos) in a fairly dark room, with tortoise like actions and soft words. Whilst the juxtapostion of the image is Shona, in the foreground. Who's still trooping on. With no music in mind, but there is a party ongoing still in her head. I like to think she represents the peak of a party whilst Pat is conveying the aftermath of hunger and sleep craving.

Technique was aiming to getting torso up shots of the subjects. So you could see there actions and movements, but close enough to see facial features and there 'vibes'.

Pat's debut- Out of the three photo's in evaluation this image is the 'coldest' in colours as it has the lowest of apperature.

The postioning of Pat and the whole incorparation of props such as the sunglasses and plastic pink cup make the image humouris. As well the dark background captivates your view straight to Pat. From the 'sassy-ness' of the image I titled this 'Pat's debut' as it looked like it should be a debut album cover for his music career. In a mocking sense.

The shutter speed was raised to around 1/500 to ensure the images to be sharp and avoid blur and the apperature was lowered to avoid noise.
